Business Operations: Overseeing profit center operations and accountable for increasing profitability and achieving business objectives within budgeted parameters. Maintain operational cost within the budget. Analysis on likely forecast trends of fuels, vessels, transportations, Government Incentives (EPCG, DPEB, Focus Products and focus markets, ) , Managing contract negotiations for all over India for CHA, transporters, contractual staff/manning.

Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation:

  • Developing logistics network for ensuring seamless, cost-effective movement of consignment and timely delivery of orders.
  • Managing logistics operations involving & coordinating with shipping companies, transporters, C&F Agents, External & Internal stakeholders to achieve cost-effective transport solutions.
  • Manage and control complete Export and Import customs clearances, logistic operations, co-ordination with CHS , C & F agents, to achieve seamless and cost effective solutions
  • Arranging transportation for & from PAN India including all Manufacturing plants, Central warehouse and various warehouses across provinces, Co-ordination with courier companies for small shipments like DHL, First flight, Blue Dart ..etc across the globe.
  • Heading bulk, 20 mt , 40 mt vessels, Pre & Post fixture operations, Checking initial voyage estimates considering load and discharge port, Bunker consumption , Bunker rates, Ensure terms are agreed with vessel owners and characters have been fully covered without exposing the company to any risk.
  • Finalize contract with various service providers like cranes, trailers, hydra, labor contracts, office supplies, etc required for transmission and distribution functions PAN India.
  • Set up bonded warehouses on need basis & provide logistic service providers PAN India & across globe.
  • Timely & error free documentation for all EXIM policies
  • Efficiently setup of SOPs, reduction in customs clearance time & cost, handle custom valuations matters in respect of related arty transactions.
  • Liaising with customs/ DGFT , agents for obtaining necessary licenses/sanctions to ensure all levels of compliances Materials Management: Owning end to end responsibility of all warehouses & central ware house by maintaining stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification, audits, documentation and monitoring in SAP, Arranging timely dispatches from all warehouses by means of Pick and Pack, Distribution as per sales demand, Maintaining invoices, E-way bills , LR copies.

Safety & Peoples management :

  • Spearhead entire logistic function and team of 70 odd people ( Direct & Indirect)
    • Must be able to handle multi skills assignments & conflicts at various levels
  • Ensure all vessels, dry vessels, vehicles who are in contract follow safety & insurance norms.
  • All warehouse must follow and maintain safety standards at all the time
    • Employee and people should be maintained with positive engagement
