Key Responsibilities
- Site Safety & Risk Management
· Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure safe working practices.
· Conduct site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
· Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees, contractors, and visitors.
· Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Health & Environment Management
· Monitor dust, noise, waste, and environmental factors at project sites.
· Ensure safe disposal of construction debris and hazardous materials.
· Implement measures to minimize environmental impact as per client and statutory norms.
· Promote occupational health and hygiene practices at sites.
- Documentation & Compliance
· Maintain and update all EHS-related documents and records as per client requirements and government regulatory norms.
· Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, Pollution Control Board norms, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
· Prepare and submit EHS reports, incident reports, and compliance documents to clients, management, and statutory authorities.
· Maintain permits, licenses, and inspection records required for project execution.
- Training & Awareness
· Conduct safety induction training for workers, staff, and contractors at project sites.
· Organize safety toolbox talks, mock drills, and awareness programs.
· Develop EHS campaigns to promote a safety-first culture.
- Emergency Preparedness
· Prepare site-specific emergency response and evacuation plans.
· Ensure availability and maintenance of firefighting and first aid equipment.
· Coordinate with local authorities during emergencies.
Key Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of infrastructure project safety standards.
· Familiarity with construction safety laws, client safety requirements, and government compliance norms.
· Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
· Documentation and reporting expertise.
· Proactive in identifying risks and driving corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience
· Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Industrial Safety, Civil Engineering, or Environmental
· Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / Safety Diploma preferred.
· Minimum 2–6 years of experience in EHS, preferably in infrastructure/construction projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹350, ₹650,000.00 per year
