General Labourer ====================== Summary We are seeking motivated and hardworking General Labourers to support our employer partners across the Canterbury region. As a General Labourer, you will play a vital role in maintaining productivity and safety on worksites, assisting skilled trades teams and operational staff with a wide range of physical and practical tasks. Responsibilities • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials. • Carry out general site cleaning, preparation, and maintenance. • Operate basic tools, equipment, and machinery under supervision. • Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE). • Support tradespeople and site supervisors with daily operational tasks. • Report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately. • Maintain good communication with team members and supervisors.Requirements • No formal qualification required; trade training or site safety certificates advantageous. • 3+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or site labouring preferred. • Physically fit and capable of handling manual labour tasks. • English Certificate (PTE / IELTS) is mandatory. • Strong work ethic and reliability. • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. • Basic understanding of workplace safety requirements. • Good communication and time -management skills.
