About Legal Gini
Legal Gini is an AI-powered legal research and case management platform designed to make the Indian legal system more accessible, efficient, and transparent. We work with advocates, law firms, and legal professionals to deliver cutting-edge tools that simplify legal research and improve client service.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to assist our Advocate in ongoing legal research, drafting, and case preparation. This is a remote, part-time role ideal for law students who want to gain hands-on experience while managing their academic schedule.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, and judicial precedents
- Assist in drafting legal documents, petitions, and briefs
- Summarise and analyse judgments
- Support case preparation and document organisation
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervising Advocate
Requirements
- Current law student (preferably 3rd year or above for 5-year course, or 2nd year or above for 3-year course)
- Strong research and drafting skills
- Familiarity with legal databases and research tools
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Availability to work evenings after lectures and flexible hours on weekends
Work Schedule
- Evenings: Post-lecture hours during weekdays (flexible start times)
- Weekends: Flexible scheduling to complete weekly 20-hour commitment
