Data Entry Operator – Day Mart (Kunnamangalam, Calicut)

About Day Mart

Day Mart is one of Kerala's leading supermarket and hypermarket chains, committed to providing customers with the best shopping experience and service standards. We're expanding our back-office team and looking for energetic and detail-oriented candidates to join our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter, update, and manage data in company databases and ERP systems.
  • Maintain and verify records of inventory, sales, and purchase entries.
  • Prepare daily reports and share them with store management and accounts teams.
  • Check for errors or missing information and ensure data consistency.
  • Assist in documentation, filing, and maintaining digital records.
  • Coordinate with store staff and department heads for timely data collection.

Requirements:

  • Basic to good computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, Word, email handling).
  • Typing speed and accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Age limit: Below 30 years.
  • Freshers can also apply, but need to have certificate in Data Entry Operator Course.
  • Candidates with prior experience in data entry, billing, or retail operations will be preferred.

Education:

  • Minimum: Plus Two (12th) pass.
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Applications or related field preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 10 to 12 hours per day (as per store operational hours).
  • Weekly off as per company policy.
