Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Linux DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, automate, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our Linux-based infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable operations of our Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Linux Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems, including servers, virtual machines, containers, and network components.
• Configuration Management: Develop and manage automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to ensure consistent and reliable system configuration across different environments.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and configure monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix to proactively monitor system health, performance, and security. Respond to alerts and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze system metrics, and implement optimizations to improve the overall performance and scalability of Linux systems.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, perform regular security audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
• Sound knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Installation of mongodb, rabbitmq, redis and various open source tools/packages
