Required Technical and Professional Expertise7+ years of experience as a zLinux Administrator.Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat.Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and shell scripting.Experience with zVM virtualization Environment and x360s zLinux Architecture.Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is advantageous.Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Linux administrationInstall, configure, and maintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.Preferred Technical and Professional ExperienceStrong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong understanding of server hardware and experience in server management.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure proper system security and data integrity.Collaborate with software developers and system analysts to troubleshoot and resolve software compatibility issues on Linux platforms.
