Job description
:

  • We are looking for a seasoned AS400 Production Support Analyst with 6–8 years of experience in supporting mission-critical applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RTV (Return to Vendor) and RDQ (Real-time Data Query) processes, along with strong troubleshooting and incident management skills. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability and performance of retail and supply chain operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide L2/L3 production support for AS400-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to RTV workflows, including vendor returns, credit processing, and inventory adjustments.
  • Support RDQ processes, ensuring real-time data accuracy and timely query responses across systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring production issues.
  • Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve incidents and deploy changes.
  • Maintain and optimize CL programs, RPG/ILE code, and DB2/400 queries.
  • Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes using ITSM tools.
  • Document support procedures, known issues, and resolution steps for knowledge sharing.
  • Provide on-call support and participate in weekend/holiday rotations as needed.
