Role & responsibilities

  • Creating Drawings: Preparing detailed drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on sketches, notes, and specifications.
  • CAD Software Proficiency: Utilizing CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools to create and modify 2D and 3D models.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop and refine designs.
  • Ensuring Accuracy: Ensuring that all drawings and technical documentation adhere to industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Revising and Updating: Revising and updating existing drawings as needed based on design changes, feedback, or site conditions.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical support to other departments or teams involved in the project.
  • Maintaining Records: Maintaining organized records of all drawings and related documentation.
  • Bill of Materials: Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication and procurement.
  • Clash Checks: Performing clash checks and resolving any design conflicts.
  • Site Visits: Conducting site visits to gather measurements and information for creating accurate drawings.
  • Adhering to Standards: Ensuring all work aligns with company standards and best practices.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Completing assigned tasks and projects within the given timeframe.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues during the design and implementation process.
