You will be supervising and guiding Commis chefs in the pizza section, ensuring proper fermentation, stretching, and handling of pizza dough. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pizza station at all times will be crucial. Additionally, you will check inventory levels, request stock as needed, and minimize wastage. Monitoring portion control and maintaining food cost efficiency are also key responsibilities. It is important to adhere to food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards. You will also assist the Head Chef / Sous Chef in menu development, new recipes, and seasonal specials.
