About the Team & Business Line: 

The Real Assets Fund Services group is seeking a Supervisor to join the Yardi Onboarding Team. This specialized team of professionals are subject matter experts on Real Assets investment management operations, as well as the processes and technologies that support those functions.  The Yardi Onboarding Supervisor will be responsible for executing accounting and reporting setup, systems configuration, related data migration to start formal client operations, and providing Yardi technical support to the business.  This position will work closely with our Client Onboarding and Yardi Support Teams to drive efficiencies within our global onboarding model. The Supervisor must demonstrate leadership skills in coaching, motivating team members and dealing with clients and counterparts in other groups.  The successful candidate will be expected to learn and develop expertise in all aspects of the on-boarding process and system configuration, as well as participating in firm-wide initiatives and thought leadership.

Your Role: 

• Act as the liaison between Client staff and Accounting/Operations to on-board clients to Citco technology systems.

• Analyse, design, setup and test fund structures within Citco systems, including automation of capital transaction processing, consolidations, eliminations, currency exchange, and returns calculations.

• Coordinate with all relevant teams to ensure internal workflows will meet client needs and regulatory controls.

• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all necessary data is captured and migrated for client reporting and calculation models.

• Provide Yardi support and best practice guidance to Accounting/Operations.

• Contribute to on-going discussions on operational process and best practices.

• Participate in process and system enhancement projects as required.

• Maintain a pro-active customer focus at all times.

• Team Management: 

  • Review the work of team members and provide feedback for improvement in order to guarantee timely delivery and quality of work.
  • Plan resources in line with business demands, lead, coach, and develop within the team.
  • Establish plan for new acquisition set up and transitions.
  • Keep Senior Management abreast of all material issues affecting the processing of deliverables.
  • Implement training and coaching initiatives.

About You:

• Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the following or related fields: Commerce / Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems Management and Computer Science Engineering or Technology.

• 4+ years' commercial real estate and/or private equity experience.

• Public/private accounting experience, predominantly in the commercial real estate & alternative investment SPV or fund sectors beneficial.

• Strong analytical and integration experience involving complex data sets.

• Strong excel skills essential.

• Experience working in multiple jurisdictions & time-zones preferred.

• Yardi Voyager experience essential, specifically Investment Management Module & Core Voyager Functionalities.

• Knowledge and experience in other commercial & residential real estate accounting systems beneficial i.e. MRI, JD Edwards, RealPage, Microsoft Dynamics.

• Experience in producing systems/process guidance and carrying out systems training beneficial. 

• Strong team player who exhibits excellent communication and written skills.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product.

• Team management experience beneficial.

• Role would suit a candidate who has previously worked in accounting but is looking to take the next step in their career and has an interest in understanding and analysing accounting software.
