Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled
Java Production Support Engineer
to join our team. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues for Java-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    L2/L3 support
    for Java applications in production environments.
  • Monitor application health, logs, and performance using tools like
    Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar
    .
  • Analyze and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Deploy patches and releases in production environments.
  • Create and maintain support documentation and SOPs.
  • Participate in
    on-call rotation
    and handle critical incidents.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of
    Core Java, J2EE
    , and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
  • Hands-on experience with
    SQL/PL-SQL
    and relational databases (Oracle/MySQL).
  • Familiarity with
    Linux/Unix commands
    and shell scripting.
  • Experience with
    incident management tools
    (ServiceNow, JIRA).
  • Knowledge of
    application servers
    (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss).
  • Good understanding of
    production monitoring tools
    (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    24x7 support environment
    with rotational shifts.
