We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor development, order processing, ERP management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. This role also involves strong coordination skills for documentation, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration. Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Development & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.

  • Maintain healthy relationships with existing vendors and regularly assess performance.

  • Procurement Operations

  • Source materials/products as per company requirements.

  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and efficiency.

  • Raise purchase orders and manage approvals through ERP systems.

  • ERP Management

  • Operate and manage purchase modules in ERP systems for order processing, tracking, and reporting.

  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates in ERP.

  • Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain purchase records, reports, and price lists.

  • Handle documentation for audits, including contracts, invoices, and GRNs.

  • Manage legal documents related to procurement and vendor compliance.

  • Follow-up & Coordination

  • Follow up with vendors for order status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate with internal departments like finance, stores, and quality to ensure smooth procurement flow.

  • Audit & Compliance

  • Prepare documents for internal and external audits.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of local and international sourcing.
  • Understanding of legal documentation related to purchase contracts.
  • Experience with audit documentation and compliance standards.
