About the Role

We're looking for an
Inside Sales & Customer Insights Executive

who loves talking to people, understanding what they want, and helping them find the perfect handcrafted product.

You'll be the first human touchpoint for many customers — engaging with them over
WhatsApp, calls, and DMs

, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the right purchase.

Beyond conversions, you'll also play a
strategic role

— sharing real-time insights with the
supply and marketing teams

on what customers are asking for, what's trending, and what they wish existed.

What You'll Own

1. Customer Conversations & Conversions

  • Handle inbound customer queries across
    WhatsApp, phone calls, and web chat.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or personalization options.
  • Drive conversions by following up with leads, offering recommendations, and addressing objections.
  • Communicate Zwende's brand story and craftsmanship in every interaction.
  • Maintain strong post-sale relationships for repeat purchases and referrals.

2. Sales Operations & Tracking

  • Maintain accurate logs of customer interactions and outcomes in CRM/Sheets.
  • Track
    conversion rates, follow-up performance, and order closures

daily.
- Collaborate with fulfillment and operations to ensure smooth post-order communication.
- Report daily and weekly sales insights to the growth team.

3. Insights & Collaboration

  • Capture
    customer feedback, objections, and trends

— and share structured insights with supply and marketing teams.
- (e.g., frequent customization requests, missing product categories, packaging feedback, new gift ideas.)
- Partner with supply teams to influence product curation based on demand signals.
- Work with marketing to fine-tune messaging, offers, and campaigns based on customer sentiment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions on how to improve customer experience and conversions.

4. Growth & Experiments

  • Run small experiments with messaging, offers, and scripts to improve engagement and closure rates.
  • Contribute to new playbooks for personalized sales conversations at scale.
  • Share ideas to enhance the WhatsApp and call-based buying experience.

Who You Are

  • 1–4 years of experience in
    inside sales, telesales, customer success, or relationship management.
  • Prior experience in an e-commerce or D2C environment is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — in English and Hindi (regional languages are a plus).
  • Confident, empathetic, and persuasive in customer conversations.
  • Comfortable working with
    Google Sheets, CRM tools, and WhatsApp Business.
  • Organized, target-driven, and quick to adapt based on customer feedback.
  • Curious about
    craft, design, and what makes customers tick.

Compensation:

₹4 – ₹6 LPA (based on experience)
+ ESOPs.
