Job description
  • Lead and manage a team of Analysts / Scientists, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in project execution, problem-solving, and skill development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Strategy, Marketing, Finance) to understand business processes and get the relevant data points
  • Able to develop and implement data science strategies, methodologies, and best practices for business problems
  • Conduct hands-on data analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model building using machine learning techniques like regression, clustering, forecasting, sentiment analysis, topic modelling, etc.
  • Run the recurring demand forecast models and perform actuals vs forecasts analysis each quarter
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations, presentations, and reports
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Work in CST overlapping shifts
Qualifications:
  • Experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modelling
  • Experience in team management, project management, or people management.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, Snowflake and Tableau
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful data science projects in a fast-paced environment
