Position Summary
Level: Senior Solution Advisor
Work you'll do:

• Architect and implement SAM Pro solutions with advanced configuration and secure, efficient workflows.
• Design scalable data/object models, technical workflow diagrams, and access control frameworks for optimized asset management.
• Integrate and normalize software asset data across multiple sources (Discovery, SCCM, publisher packs, Content Library).
• Lead end-to-end use case design, workflow automation, and strategic deployments to higher environments.
• Build, automate, and continually improve workflows for software asset lifecycle: requests, approvals, provisioning, reclamation, and de-provisioning.
• Analyze usage data to uncover optimization and cost reduction opportunities, and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain high-quality, normalized, and audit-ready data across SAM Pro, CMDB, and entitlements.
• Oversee automation of asset reclamation, software retirement, and exception handling.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions focused on SAM Pro maturity and transformation.
• Partner with procurement, IT operations, cyber risk, and vendor management teams to embed SAM best practices across enterprise processes.
• Deliver expert training and documentation, upskill junior staff, and support pre-sales activities as a domain SME.
• Define and enforce policies to strengthen SAM, compliance, and operational reliability.
• Develop dashboards and automated reporting for SAM analytics, software consumption trends, and asset health metrics.
• Lead gap assessments and asset lifecycle audits to enable decision-making and reduce risk exposure.
• Contribute to the development of SAM accelerators, best practices, and internal knowledge assets.

The Team:
Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.

Qualifications:
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 7-9 years' experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro, ITAM, and asset lifecycle automation.
• Advanced skills in ServiceNow Flow Designer, data model design, scripting, and integration with enterprise discovery/inventory platforms.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end workflow design and process improvement for large-scale SAM deployments.
• Demonstrated success in normalizing asset data, maintaining CMDB integrity, and automating exception and reclamation processes.
• Proven record supporting organizational change, requirements analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts to create and estimate user stories and propose solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations for quality and user experience.
• Excellent documentation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across geographical locations.
• Advanced understanding of service management principles to integrate SAM processes with broader ITSM efforts
• Experience in integrating and tuning ServiceNow Discovery for accurate software detection
• Ability to customize SAM Pro through UI Actions, Business Rules, Script Includes

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Good knowledge of operating systems, servers, hardware environment, software licensing, etc., preferred
• ServiceNow CSA, CIS-SAM, or CIS-ITAM certifications.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS asset management, hybrid environments, and automation tools (JAMF, Flexera, SNOW).
• Knowledge of IT operations, configuration management, and integration with procurement or vendor contract modules.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in report/dashboard development and exposure to process transformation projects.

Education:
Bachelor's degree + MBA (Preferred)
