Job Summary
We are looking for a Software QA & Development Intern who will work closely with our backend, frontend, and full-stack teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software systems. Your primary responsibility will be to test APIs, web interfaces, platforms, and internal tools. When the testing workload is low, you'll contribute to development tasks across the stack, making this a hybrid role for someone who enjoys both testing and building software.

What You Will Do

  • Test backend APIs, frontend interfaces, and full-stack workflows for functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases, identify bugs, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Validate data flows and database interactions across SQL and NoSQL systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Build or improve backend services (Python/FastAPI/Flask or ) and assist in developing responsive frontend components ) when testing workload is low.
  • Contribute to debugging, fixing issues, and improving code quality across backend, frontend, and integration layers.
  • Use Postman, Swagger, DevTools, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to support testing, development, and deployment workflows.
  • Participate in release validation, regression testing, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Work closely with backend, frontend, and full-stack teams to ensure end-to-end product quality and delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Good foundation in programming (Python or JavaScript) with interest in both testing and development.
  • Understanding of web technologies, including backend APIs and frontend frameworks ).
  • Familiarity with manual and basic automated testing concepts, tools like Postman/Swagger, and browser DevTools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ability to validate data flows.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to debug issues, think critically, and identify edge cases across the software stack.
  • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
