Job Summary: Smart Agro is seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain management for our agro-realty and high-end timber production projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that procurement processes align with our mission of ecological integrity and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement:

2. Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, equipment, and services.

3. Source high-quality products and agro-related inputs from reliable suppliers.

4. Supplier Relationship Management:

5. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with local and international suppliers.

6. Conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality and sustainability standards.

7. Cost Optimization:

8. Negotiate contracts to secure the best deals without compromising quality.

9. Monitor market trends to forecast material costs and manage budgets effectively.

10. Compliance and Sustainability:

11. Ensure all procurement practices comply with legal and environmental standards.

12. Promote sustainable sourcing practices to align with SmartAgros ecological goals.

13. Inventory and Logistics:

14. Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery of materials to project sites.

15. Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste and surplus.

16. Team Collaboration:

17. Work closely with all managers, sales, and operational teams to understand requirements.

18. Lead a small team of procurement specialists if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in agro-realty, agriculture, or timber industries.

• Strong negotiation, Communication and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

• Understanding of sustainability practices in procurement is a plus.
