Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a People Business Partner based in Chennai. The People Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employee management practices, developing and executing HR strategies, and acting as a consultant to management on human resources matters. The role includes implementing employee engagement initiatives, managing talent development programs, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor regulations. Additionally, the role involves supporting the management in change management, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, employee engagement, and organizational development
  • Skills in talent development, performance management, and change management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and develop a positive workplace culture
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in HR business partnering, ideally in a retail or corporate setting
