We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAD Design Engineer with a strong background in technical CAD drafting and a deep understanding of furniture design and production. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in advanced design software, materials knowledge, and production processes to support our manufacturing operations and innovation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise and detailed 2D & 3D technical drawings for furniture designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Develop and optimize furniture designs considering functionality, aesthetics, manufacturing feasibility, and cost-efficiency.
  • Interpret and convert conceptual designs into production-ready CAD models.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of various wood types, engineered boards, veneers, and other furniture materials.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure alignment between design intent and final product execution.
  • Develop CNC programs using Power Mill for automated machining and cutting processes.
  • Participate in the development of AI of furniture .(Assembly Instruction)
  • Lead, guide, and supervise production workers, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to design or materials and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain and update the CAD library of furniture components and assemblies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on material selection and custom parts when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Power Mill for CNC programming.
  • Minimum [7] years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the furniture manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture construction methods, materials, and hardware.
  • Team leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate production staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of design automation or AI in product design is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with CNC machinery and automated furniture production lines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400, ₹700,000.00 per year
