Your Role
As an Aircraft Structural Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing design solutions for damages on aircraft structures. You'll support in-service repair activities, create technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure airworthiness and structural integrity.
In this role, you will:
- Provide design solutions and acceptance for damages on aircraft primary and secondary structures.
- Create and manage repair documentation including Database (DB), Repair Instruction/Answer (AW), Repair Drawing (RD), and Technical Disposition (TD).
- Support in-service daily and major repairs.
- Work with Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) and Air Vehicle Structure Repair (ASR) documentation.
- Apply design and sizing principles for aircraft structural components.
- Utilize knowledge of engineering materials, including metallic and composite materials.
- Apply GD&T principles and component dimensioning standards.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
- 4–6 years of experience in aircraft structural repair and design.
- Strong understanding of engineering materials and structural integrity.
- Proficient in GD&T and component dimensioning.
- Preferred experience with Airbus structures and programs.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and effective communication skills.
