Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new clients, promoting legal and compliance services related to BIS, ISI, and Hallmark certification, and managing client relationships. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, understanding of regulatory processes, and strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients in manufacturing, import/export, and related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for BIS, ISI, and Hallmarking compliance services.
  • Identify, generate, and manage new business opportunities in target industries such as electronics, consumer goods, jewellery, and manufacturing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their regulatory needs and providing suitable legal compliance solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical and legal teams to ensure accurate representation of services and smooth onboarding of clients.
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients and close deals effectively.
  • Stay updated on BIS, ISI, Hallmarking, and related regulatory updates issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards and other government bodies.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates for management.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote services and strengthen brand presence.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and manage post-sales support in coordination with the service delivery team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in legal, certification, testing, or compliance services.
  • Strong understanding of BIS certification processes, ISI marking, and Hallmarking regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
