Job description

Position Title- Team Lead/ Sr. System Administrator - Windows & Linux

Location-Mumbai Candidates from Mumbai preferred

Qualification : Any engineering graduate/ any graduate with a technical degree

Work Experience: Minimum 1 year as a system administrator(Immediate Joinee or within 15days Joinee)

Skills Required:

Operating System Administration: -2008 R2/2012/2019 Server/CentOS/Redhat

Web Servers: IIS6.0/7.0/7.5/8.0 Web Server/Apache/NGNIX

Knowledge of Virtual Technologies, Cloud Computing, VMWare, HyperV Hypervisor

Knowledge on Sonicwall / Cisco ASA Firewall, Layer 3-Layer 2 switches

Knowledge of cPanel, Plesk or other hosting control panels

Knowledge of Office 365/ Google for Work

Data Center operations, Nagios Monitoring Server.

Basic knowledge of Database (Admin) MS SQL 2008/ R2/MySQL/Postgres

Hands-on experience in Handling Hosting Production Environment, International Customers, communications.

Strong Troubleshooting, Problem resolution skills.

Customer Focus, dedicated to Customer success.

Be able to work in rotating shifts with 24x6 Support model and be available scheduled weekend maintenance or support rotational on-call for weekend activities.

Self-starter and a proactive

Desired Skills:

Production Support, IT Networking Concepts, Troubleshooting Database connection issues, IT Networking Protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP, Telnets etc).

Knowledge of Zimbra, SmarterMail, Google apps, O365 etc

Aware of ITIL Framework (Certification in ITIL V3 could be added advantage)

Troubleshooting and supporting enterprise application

LDAP Integration with Applications

Hands on experience on Load Balancer, Cpanel Plesk and Hardware Firewalls and Networking must.

JD Technical

Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of critical host computers. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.

Maintain and support mission-critical, front-end and back-end production environments

Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.

Develops procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications

Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.

Oversees maintaining and supporting services for multi-platform or critical applications.

Facilitates regulatory and mandated system enhancements.

Install, Develop, and maintain VMs for testing and development. Create images, install VMs, install cloud components like ESXi , vCenter, vSphere, Xen, HyperVetc.

Experienced in network management, DNS management, switches configuration, VLAN, security and best practices, VPN, etc..

Experienced on installing, upgrading, and maintaining Redhat, debian, Mac OSX, Windows, Vmware, Solaris

JD Operational

Proven ability to take on new tasks, and work independently to bring the tasks to completion.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Performs a variety of tasks & works under general supervision.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Trains others on methods, tools and techniques for supporting multiple applications.
