Senior Software Engineer / Lead Scala

Hybrid | 6-Month Contract (Extendable)

Note: This is a contractual position for the first 6 months, with potential for extension or conversion based on performance.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Scala, with a deep understanding of functional programming principles.
  • Proficient in Python, particularly for backend and data processing workflows.
  • Familiar with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing (deep expertise not mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS services like EKS, EMR, and S3.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and data architecture.
  • Experience building RESTful web services using Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control and working with CI/CD pipelines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable distributed systems using Scala and Python.
  • Work with Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EMR, S3) to build, deploy, and operate infrastructure at scale.
