Senior Manager - Operations, is the crux of any organization and in our field of work, seamless executions will help in retaining and acquiring new clientele.

Recykal is looking for a Senior Manager - Operations, Sustainability Solutions who can support the team in ensuring timely compliance to rules on behalf of Brands required to fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance of brands with the existing rules and regulations
  • Ensure formats are standardized either according to government, brand or recykal requirements
  • Document collections and verification as per the commitment given to the brands
  • Proactive Follow ups with key brands and stakeholders associated with recykal
  • Having a keen eye for details especially in terms of compliance related documentation
  • Handle multiple teams on-field and off-field
  • Increase efficiency of team by building optimized processes of completions
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the processes of implementation
  • Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as in handling operations
  • Past experience in the waste management field is a welcomed advantage
  • Ability to work efficiently and on multiple projects at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the solid ability to persuade others, build consensus and work in a team
