What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configurations, pricing rules, discount structures, approvals, QCP logic, and quote templates.
  • Implementing and managing Advanced Approvals and Deal Desk approvals to streamline and automate the sales approval process.
  • Configuring advanced pricing models, bundles, and subscription setups to support scalable and flexible quoting.
  • Collaborating with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions.
  • Building custom components using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL to extend CPQ functionality.
  • Integrating Salesforce CPQ with CRM, ERP, and billing systems using REST/SOAP APIs to enable seamless Lead-to-Cash workflows.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing CPQ configurations to ensure performance, scalability, and quoting accuracy.
  • Conducting code reviews, enforcing best practices, and mentoring junior developers to uplift overall delivery quality.
  • Documenting system configurations, technical designs, and processes to support maintainability and future enhancements.
  • Keeping up to date with Salesforce CPQ releases and best practices to continuously improve solution design and delivery.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes (quoting, ordering, billing, renewals, amendments) that streamline revenue operations and improve sales efficiency. 
  • Strong track record of partnering with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and IT teams to translate business needs into effective CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize complex CPQ solutions, including product configurations, bundles, pricing models, advanced discounting, and approvals.
  • Participate in various Scrum processes as a member of the Agile team
  • Manage development lifecycles, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Partner with integration teams to enable seamless data flow between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years Salesforce development experience, with 3+ years hands-on Salesforce CPQ expertise
  • Implementation experience to manage subscription lifecycle events including new subscriptions, amendments (upgrades, downgrades, add-ons, cancellations), and renewals in Salesforce CPQ.
  • Successfully executed at least one CPQ data migration implementation project, transitioning critical sales data and configurations from one CPQ platform to another, with a focus on data integrity, validation, and seamless user adoption
  • Strong knowledge of quote-to-cash processes and Salesforce Revenue Cloud
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), payment systems, and other third-party applications.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Salesforce CPQ configuration (rules, pricing, bundles, templates)
    • Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL
    • Integration using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certifications are Mandatory
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git, Salesforce CLI).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
