Job Description – MDM Support Engineer

Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Location: Greater Noida/Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-time

Technical Expertise Requirements:

·      Hands-on experience in supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as SOTI MobiControl, Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch), IBM MaaS360, or similar.

·      Strong knowledge of device enrollment, configuration, application distribution, compliance policies, device groups, and rule management across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.

·      Proficiency in supporting enterprise mobility environments (300+ devices), including troubleshooting, incident handling, and root cause analysis.

·      Support experience with factory handhelds, embedded handhelds, rugged devices (Motorola/Zebra, Casio, Honeywell), smartphones, and tablets.

·      Ability to manage OS upgrades/downgrades for Android and iOS devices in MDM-managed environments.

·      Familiarity with ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira) for incident and request management.

·      Strong understanding of wireless networking basics, ActiveSync, certificate services, and LDAP/AD integration.

·      Exposure to mobile security tools (e.g., Zimperium, Lookout, or other Mobile Threat Defense solutions).

·      Knowledge of cloud-based MDM solutions and integrations with identity platforms (Azure AD, Okta, Ping).

·      Good understanding of compliance monitoring, reporting, and patch management in enterprise mobility.

·      Experience in supporting critical factory/production environments is an added advantage.

·      Mobile OS platforms (Android Enterprise, iOS/iPadOS, Windows 10/11, rugged handhelds).

·      Mobile Hardware (Motorola/Zebra, Casio, Honeywell, Samsung, Apple).

·      Security & Threat Defense (Zimperium, Lookout, MTD solutions).

·      Excellent communication and customer support skills.

·      Outcome-driven, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.

·      Ability to create technical documentation, process guidelines, and knowledge base articles.

·      Comfortable working under SLAs and high-priority escalations.
