Job Summary:
We are looking for passionate and hardworking Commi -I Cook to join our fast growing, multi-cuisine restaurant in Goa. The cook will be also responsible for assisting Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef in cooking and then ensuring that all stations are clean.
Duties and responsibilities:
Prepare food for guests while following guidelines laid out, ensuring the quality and quantity as per the restaurant standards and state regulations.
Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner while adhering to best practices and careful preparation of food items.
Communicate the assistance needed during busy hours of the Restaurant.
As an effective Commis I Chef ensure that all stocks are well maintained and required stock orders are placed in timely manner.
Ensure that mise-en-place for food preparation is completed in your department.
Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the Restaurant.
Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared for the guests
Be responsible in maintaining everyday raw materials and food logs.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Prepare & cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
Requirements:
1) Minimum 2 years work experience in Indian, Chinese or Goan cuisine.
2) Perfect Knowledge of department
3) Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.
4) Able to take responsibility.
Job Timings:
Should be available to work between 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM and 11:30 PM Monday through Sunday with one weekly off.
Candidate should be willing to relocate to Goa.
Food and accommodation would be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹28,000.00 per month
