We're looking for a Laravel Developer who's passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems that power our live video shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Laravel and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with the frontend and mobile teams to design robust, well-documented APIs.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability for live video and high-traffic scenarios.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.
  • Manage database design, queries, and migrations (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services, including video, analytics, and payment platforms.
  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality through code reviews and CI/CD practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and staging environments.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Laravel or Lumen.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP 8+, MySQL, and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with queues (Redis, SQS, or similar) and job scheduling.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Good understanding of authentication (OAuth, JWT) and security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and own projects end-to-end.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with WebRTC, or real-time systems.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks (Vue/React) is a bonus.
