Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Pune. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily tasks include bookkeeping, budgeting, and working closely with the finance team to manage accounts payable and receivable. The Accountant will also assist in preparing tax returns and conducting audits to ensure accuracy in financial documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
  • Experience with financial reporting and preparing financial statements
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in the education or training industry is advantageous
