Job summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience in Core Java Spring Boot and Microservices. This role involves developing and maintaining applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness. The position is hybrid with no travel required and operates during day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Core Java ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable microservices architectures.
  • Utilize Spring Boot to build robust and efficient backend services for data processing.
  • Integrate geospatial data sources and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data processing and application performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in development and Java programming.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Ensure application security and data integrity through effective coding practices and testing.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Core Java and its application in development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Spring Boot for building backend services.
  • Have experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • Show ability to integrate geospatial data sources and APIs effectively.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
