Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure raw materials, packaging items, and other supplies as per production requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for quality, price, delivery, and payment terms.
  • Ensure timely purchase orders and follow up with vendors for on-time delivery.
  • Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, quotations, contracts, and invoices.
  • Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and vendor database.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock control processes.
  • Conduct market research for alternative suppliers, price trends, and new materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
  • Assist in cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality.

Skills Required:

  • Graduate in Commerce / Supply Chain / Business Management (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing / plastic / packaging industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of raw material sourcing, market trends, and costing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/Tally/other).
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹22,000.00 per month
