About the Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and process-driven Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of incremental development, structured software delivery, and the value of key development metrics.

In this role, you will act as a facilitator ensuring that development teams work efficiently, stay aligned with business priorities, and continuously improve their processes. You will be responsible for removing obstacles, maintaining team focus, and fostering collaboration between developers, business analysts, and product owners.

Role and Responsibilities

Disciplined Scrum Master: a highly experienced and authoritative Scrum Master to lead our sprint engineering processes, ensuring absolute control and adherence to best practices in Agile Scrum methodology. We are committed to delivering high-quality software efficiently and effectively, and we need a Scrum Master who can enforce discipline and structure in our sprint processes

Leadership and Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Sprint Planning and Management: Ensure meticulous sprint planning and management, with strict adherence to backlog grooming processes. Prevent unauthorized changes to sprint scope by Business Analysts (BAs), Quality Assurance (QAs) and Developers.

Code Management: Oversee code check-in/check-out processes, branching strategies, and Git practices to ensure code quality and consistency.

Backlog Grooming: Enforce rigorous backlog grooming practices, ensuring all items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.

Process Adherence: Utilize Azure DevOps to enforce best practices for sprint planning, code management, work item tracking, and communication.

Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key development indicators, including backlog tracking, burndown metrics, and velocity.

Collaboration: Foster smooth collaboration between developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring structured coordination and communication.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in Agile practices, identifying and implementing process enhancements.

Conflict Resolution: Has strong conflict-resolution and decision-making skills, ensuring that teams remain aligned and productive.

About You

Authoritative Leadership: Ability to enforce strict adherence to Agile practices and sprint processes. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of sprint planning and execution. Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues promptly and effectively. Equipment Finance Industry: Knowledge of the asset/equipment finance and commercial lending industry Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform: Preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales and/or Power Platform, both model-driven and canvas PowerApps Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate ) and Microsoft Certified Power Platform Fundamentals )
