1.Responsible for the low level design, evolution, build and

configuration of the WLAN

2.Managing the availability, performance scalability and efficiency of

the radio with core by engineering reliability and network management

features into systems

3.Liaison and co-working with equipment suppliers and 3rd party

technical resources.

4.Should be able to demonstrate relevant design and deployment

experience mainly with Cisco WLAN systems

5.Support the Auditing & performance teams for network improvement in

terms of performance, Capacity utilisation, redundancy and design.

6.Support & Coordinate for E2E solution deployment with various CFT such

as Business team, OSS/BSS, INC, O&M, performance monitoring, etc in

meeting their deliveries and timelines. Support initial Network Rollout

activities for NW acceptance.

- Skills & Competencies

  1. Planning and implementation of PTP, PTMP Wireless Network and WLAN

    Wireless Mesh Network in the designated area ensuring maximum

    efficiency, feasibility and cost effectiveness
  2. Possess intermediate skills with Cisco & Juniper networking, DNS and

    IP administration, VLAN Trunking
  3. Configure, Commission, Test and Monitor devices such as Wireless UBR,

    Wireless Access Points, Wireless Routers, Switches, WLCs and Flex

    Master.
  4. Wireless site surveys, creating site layout, and cabling diagrams.
  5. Spatial/GIS ability in applications such as MapInfo, and Google Earth
  6. Knowledge of Wi-fi standards, core network and call flows.
  7. Working knowledge on tools like Airmagnet, Airtight Planning tool,

    IBWAVE, ATOLL. Good understanding and ability to design and implement

    Wi-fi hotspots.
