Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Out Engineer located in Hyderabad. The Cost Out Engineer will be responsible for identifying cost-saving opportunities, evaluating and analyzing design and process changes, conducting value engineering and value analysis (VE/VA) activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves continuously improving product design and manufacturing processes to optimize cost efficiency while ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering skills including design, analysis, and CAD software proficiency
  • Expertise in Cost Reduction and Analysis, Value Analysis/

    )
  • Experience with Manufacturing Processes (Sheetmetal, Plastics Design, Castings), Process Optimization and Lean methodologies
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role within relevant industries is a plus
