SEO Specialist

PickupTrails is seeking an SEO Specialist with a strong passion for digital marketing and travel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that boost our website's organic visibility, attract high-quality traffic, and strengthen our brand presence in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages for higher search rankings.
  • Perform on-page, off-page, and technical SEO improvements.
  • Conduct site audits, fix technical issues, and ensure optimal indexing.
  • Build and manage quality backlink campaigns using ethical SEO practices.
  • Track and analyze performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and web development teams to enhance visibility.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithms, and competitor analysis.
  • Prepare and present monthly SEO performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in SEO or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO techniques.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with travel and tourism SEO.
  • Knowledge of local SEO targeting Kerala and GCC markets.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, social media marketing, and content optimization.
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Performance Metrics

  • Growth in organic traffic and keyword rankings.
  • Increase in inbound travel leads through organic channels.
  • Improved domain authority and search visibility.
  • Reduction in technical SEO issues and enhanced website performance.
