Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA efforts across web, VS Code extension, backend APIs, and AI tooling
  • Manage sprint-level test planning, test case writing, and execution
  • Own regression, smoke, and sanity testing across environments and releases
  • Define pre-release and post-release QA checklists in collaboration with Engineering
  • Maintain a fast, structured bug triaging process for hotfix and major releases
  • Build and manage test automation pipelines for web and extension environments
  • Integrate QA tooling with CI/CD processes (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • Track test coverage, defect density, and root cause metrics
  • Ensure QA processes align with SOC 2 controls for release and change management

Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience in Manual Testing of web applications, APIs, and tools
  • Proven track record in leading QA teams, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance tracking
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Experience with test case design, test planning, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of REST API testing, using tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
  • Understanding of SOC 2 compliance and quality assurance standards

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
