Position: Deputy Manager / Manager Finance & Cost Accounting

Location: Ankleshwar

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA preferably cleared in 1st attempt). But CA MUST

Experience: 710 years in finance, accounting & cost control (preferably in manufacturing/agriculture/related industry).

Reports to: Senior Manager / Head of Finance

What this role requires:

  1. Finalisation of Accounts

  2. Scrutinize trial balances quarterly.

  3. Prepare accurate financial statements (internal & external).
  4. Handle foreign currency revaluation (Ind AS 21).
  5. Manage monthly/quarterly/yearly period-end closures.

  6. Budgeting & Financial Planning

  7. Prepare and manage revenue budgets aligned with the annual operating plan.

  8. Validate CAPEX & OPEX approvals.
  9. Manage expense budget allocation across divisions.

  10. MIS & Financial Reporting

  11. Prepare monthly MIS for operations & ports.

  12. Plan funds and statutory deposits.
  13. Perform cost-benefit and ARR analysis for business decisions.

  14. Statutory Compliance & Taxation

  15. Ensure EPCG, advance authorization & EXIM policy compliance.

  16. Prepare advance tax computations.
  17. Reconcile govt. records for rebates, exemptions, tax benefits.
  18. Stay updated with new circulars/notifications.
  19. Ensure proper revenue recognition per regulations.

  20. Asset Capitalisation & Management

  21. Transfer expenses to CWIP and capitalize assets after completion.

  22. Calculate depreciation and revaluation (Ind AS 16).
  23. Manage asset disposals and documentation.

  24. Cost Analysis & Insights

  25. Perform cost control and deviation analysis.

  26. Handle intercompany reconciliations.
  27. Ensure GST compliance and maximize ITC claims.

  28. Team & Coordination

  29. Manage day-to-day finance team operations.

  30. Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Procurement for reporting & initiatives.
  31. Ensure compliance with DGFT/customs on import/export transactions.

Skills & Qualifications Needed

  • Technical: ERP (SAP preferred), Excel, financial reporting tools, knowledge of Ind AS & GST.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Communication: Strong communication and drafting skills.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and drive improvements.
