Job Summary: The Senior HR Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual with a strong understanding of HR best practices and Indian labor laws. The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for a wide range ofibilities, from talent acquisition and employee relations to HR administration and compliance, contributing significantly to a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.) to attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a seamless integration of new employees.
  • Conduct background checks and verify credentials.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment through various employee engagement initiatives.
  • Organize and execute employee engagement activities, team-building events, and recognition programs.
  • HR Administration & Operations:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (both physical and digital) in HRIS.
  • Prepare HR-related documents, including offer letters, appointment letters, promotion letters, relieving letters, etc.
  • Manage attendance and leave records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in payroll processing by providing necessary inputs related to new hires, exits, attendance, and leaves.
  • Manage employee benefits administration (e.g., medical insurance, provident fund, gratuity, etc.).
  • Performance Management:
  • Support the implementation and administration of performance management cycles, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
  • Assist in identifying training and development needs based on performance reviews.
  • Compliance & Policy:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, Gratuity Act, Bonus Act, etc.).
  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and advise management on potential implications.
  • HR Projects & Initiatives:
  • Participate in and lead various HR projects aimed at improving HR processes and employee experience.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-solving attitude and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
