We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled professional to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of our heavy machinery at the plant.

Role Overview:

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Technician will be responsible for the upkeep, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of all heavy machinery and mechanical equipment in the PEB manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all heavy machinery (e.g., CNC cutting machines, shearing machines, cranes, bending machines, welding equipment, compressors, etc.).
• Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all mechanical systems in the plant.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs or replacements as required.
• Coordinate with production and electrical maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades when needed.
• Maintain proper records of spare parts and coordinate with the store for inventory management.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and SOPs while performing maintenance work.
• Participate in plant shutdowns and major maintenance projects as planned.
• Support in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–7 years in mechanical maintenance within PEB, heavy fabrication, or steel structure manufacturing plants.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with cranes, welding, and fabrication machinery.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Plant Head / Maintenance Manager

Compensation: As per industry standards
