Job Overview

The Lead Design Verification role at Modernize Chip Solutions is an executive-level position based in Hyderabad, requiring 10 to 30 years of relevant industry experience. The position is full-time and involves leading verification processes in developing semiconductor solutions, specifically focusing on ASIC verification using advanced methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in design verification, with a strong emphasis on semiconductor solutions.
  • Excellent proficiency in SystemVerilog (Mandatory skill), utilized in designing and verifying complex Systems on Chip (SoCs).
  • Extensive experience in UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) (Mandatory skill) to ensure comprehensive verification coverage and reuse.
  • Proven expertise in ASIC Verification (Mandatory skill), highlighting ability to manage complex ASIC projects from start to finish.
  • In-depth knowledge of Verification Methodologies essential for crafting effective verification strategies and plans.
  • Solid understanding and application of Functional Verification techniques in ensuring the accurate performance of semiconductor designs.
  • Competence in RTL Design which contributes to effective collaboration with design teams in developing robust semiconductor products.
  • Experience with Formal Verification techniques, enhancing design quality and reducing verification cycle times.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, like Python, to optimize verification environments and automate testing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design verification team in deploying advanced verification strategies for ASIC projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of design and verification activities.
  • Utilize SystemVerilog and UVM to develop and implement verification environments for complex SoCs.
  • Perform comprehensive functional and formal verification to ensure design robustness and quality.
  • Develop verification plans and testbenches tailored to project-specific needs and challenges.
  • Manage and mentor junior verification engineers, fostering skill development and team collaboration.
  • Identify and resolve verification issues, leading to efficient design validation and certification.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate verification progress and issues timely and effectively.
