WordPress Developer Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated WordPress Developer Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in website development, customization, and maintenance using WordPress. You will work closely with our developers, designers, and marketing team to create functional and visually appealing websites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
  • Work with themes and plugins (installation, configuration, customization).
  • Support in creating responsive and user-friendly designs.
  • Troubleshoot and fix website issues, bugs, and errors.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with the design and content team for smooth integration.
  • Learn and apply coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP as needed.
  • Assist in updating and managing website content.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of WordPress (themes, plugins, dashboard).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL (preferred).
  • Familiarity with responsive design and website optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and website analytics.
  • Understanding of version control (Git) is a plus.
  • Creativity in designing and improving UI/UX.
