Job Title: Senior Engineer – Sourcing (Aerospace Sheet Metal)

Department: Purchase | Location: Jalahalli Unit |

Experience: 4–5 years | Age: 26+ | Notice Period: Immediate–30 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for aerospace sheet metal commodities (Aluminum, Titanium, SS, HRSA).
  • Identify and qualify suppliers per AS9100/NADCAP standards; manage vendor relationships and audits.
  • Lead commercial and technical negotiations ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams for material specifications and manufacturability.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Mitigate supply risks through alternate sourcing and contingency planning.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
  • Maintain sourcing data and reporting through SAP and MS Office tools.

Required Qualifications

  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 4–5 years' experience in aerospace sourcing/vendor development, especially sheet metal parts.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, costing, and quality standards.
  • Skilled in negotiation, supplier management, and zero-based costing.
  • Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi preferred.
