Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for a Freelance Interior Designer. The Freelance Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, creating construction drawings, and developing interior design concepts. Tasks will include selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) as well as collaborating with clients and team members to deliver high-quality designs. The role requires coordination with the architecture team and ensuring that design projects meet client expectations and project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Space Planning and Interior Design
  • Familiarity with Architecture and Construction Drawings
  • Knowledgeable in selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
