AutoCad Specialist

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Specialist with expertise in residential planning and structural detailing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, high-quality architectural and structural drawings for house plans, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for residential buildings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and structural details.
• Collaborate with engineers, and project managers to develop accurate layouts and design concepts.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, local building codes, and construction best practices.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes or client feedback.
• Prepare working drawings and documentation for construction and approval processes.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing records for ongoing and completed projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as an AutoCAD Draftsman/Specialist in residential planning and structural detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of structural detailing, layout planning, and construction documentation.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
