This Role will be responsible for Procurement Function of IT & Sales, Administration, General Expense (SAG) along with sourcing of auxiliary consumables such as rubber components (Bladder, Flaps & Tubes etc.)

The category buyer would play an essential role in leading the strategic sourcing opportunities, developing category plans and negotiating highly complex contracts for the business

  1. Responsible to handle procurement of Sales, Administration, General Expense & IT along with auxiliary consumables such as rubber components (Bladder, Flaps & Tubes etc.)
  2. Work collaboratively with dispersed stakeholders to develop strategic category plans for IT & SAG supporting the Plant Teams.
  3. Gain alignment on sourcing and negotiation strategies and short/long term category roadmaps.
  4. Develop supplier management strategy to reduce and consolidate global suppliers.
  5. Develop negotiation plans aligned with stakeholder desired outcomes for TCO, SLAs and key business terms
  6. Follow & adhere to the set governance mechanism, supplier performance specifically for PR/PO status, delivery performance, commissioning and Payment issues
  7. Manage process compliance during all phases of ordering to ensure that are no audit observations/process gaps 
  8. Influence decision makers at all levels by presenting business case, spend-cost analysis and performance metrics
  9. Work along with cross functional teams on Strategic Business sourcing needs.
