Position Title: Admissions Counsellor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Admissions Process Management:

  2. Guide prospective parents through the admission process, providing detailed information about the school, curriculum, and unique offerings.

  3. Assist families with application submissions, documentation, and admission formalities.

  4. Conduct school tours for prospective parents and students, showcasing facilities and programs.

  5. Counselling and Communication:

  6. Counsel parents and students on academic programs, extracurricular activities, and overall school philosophy.

  7. Address inquiries and concerns from prospective families via email, phone, and in-person meetings.

  8. Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while providing accurate information to ensure a positive experience.

  9. Outreach and Marketing Support:

  10. Participate in admission campaigns, open houses, and community events to promote the school.

  11. Collaborate with the marketing team to create brochures, flyers, and digital content for admissions promotion.

  12. Build relationships with feeder schools and other organisations to enhance visibility and reputation.

  13. Database and Reporting:

  14. Maintain accurate records of prospective student inquiries, applications, and communication in the school's database.

  15. Generate periodic reports on admission trends and provide insights for improvement.

  16. Compliance and Policies:

  17. Ensure all admission procedures align with CBSE norms and school policies.

  18. Stay updated on changes in CBSE regulations that may impact the admission process.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

● Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

● Minimum 2-3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or customer-facing roles (experience in the education sector is a plus).

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to build relationships and maintain a positive rapport with parents and students.

● Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with CRM software is are advantage.

● High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.

● Enthusiasm for promoting the school's mission and vision.
