As we continue to scale rapidly, we are looking for dynamic and ambitious MBA interns to join our Business Development team. This is an incredible opportunity to work directly with the founding team, gain hands-on exposure to the media & entertainment industry, and build expertise in digital streaming, FAST channels, and ad monetization strategies.

Role Overview

As an MBA Intern – Business Development, you will play a critical role in supporting RunnTV's ad sales and partnership initiatives. The role involves identifying business opportunities, driving client engagements, working with top brands and agencies, and contributing to revenue growth.

This is a high-exposure role where you'll interact directly with CXOs, senior leaders, and decision-makers across the media, advertising, and entertainment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Support – Assist in identifying and approaching potential advertisers, media agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Client Engagement – Build strong relationships with clients, confidently pitching RunnTV's ad solutions and digital streaming offerings.
  • Market Research & Insights – Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and advertiser behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Campaign Support – Coordinate with internal teams to develop, execute, and optimize advertising campaigns.
  • CXO-level Communication – Represent RunnTV confidently in external meetings, showcasing excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Travel – Engage in client and partner meetings across multiple cities (~40-50% travel).

Qualifications & Skill Required

  • MBA (Sales & Marketing specialization mandatory) – Preferably from reputed B-schools.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Must be articulate, persuasive, and confident in engaging with CXOs and senior stakeholders.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills – A strong passion for business development and revenue-driven thinking.
  • Understanding of Digital Advertising – Basic knowledge of OTT, FAST channels, programmatic ads, and brand monetization strategies is a plus.
  • Analytical & Research Skills – Ability to evaluate data, market trends, and client needs effectively.
  • Self-starter Attitude – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Presentation Tools – Must be able to create impactful proposals and decks.
