Overview The Microsoft Power Platform Lead/Architect plays a pivotal role in guiding organizations through digital transformation by leveraging the capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform. This position is essential for designing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance business processes and drive efficiency. The architect will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions built are scalable, secure, and aligned with the organization's goals. As a leader in the Power Platform space, this role will also involve mentoring development teams, establishing best practices, and ensuring compliance with governance policies. The Power Platform Lead/Architect will be instrumental in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business objectives, ultimately contributing to the organization's strategic vision while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Develop architectural blueprints and technical designs for Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Ensure governance compliance and data security standards are met in all implementations.
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and support development teams in best practices and technical standards.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations effectively.
  • Create technical documentation for all developed systems, ensuring clarity for future maintenance.
  • Implement testing strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems.
  • Stay abreast of new Power Platform features and innovations, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  • Facilitate training and workshops to empower end-users in utilizing Power Platform tools.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and practices.
  • Develop strategies for managing change to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level applications.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Strong background in Power Apps and Power Automate customization.
  • Experience with data modeling and integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of best practices for application lifecycle management.
  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform is highly desirable.
  • Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as SharePoint and Dynamics 365.
  • Proficient in creating clear and concise documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership attributes.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-changing technology landscape.
