Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with 5 years of experience to join ourengineering team
  • The ideal candidate will have solid experience with SolidWorks andAutoCADandabasicunderstanding ofelectronics
  • This role involves creating and refining mechanical designs, producing technical drawings, and collaborating with various teams to support product development and integration

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks andAutoCAD for mechanical design
  • Knowledgeon GD&TKnowledge on different IS & Other Industrial StdsBasicunderstanding of electronics and their application in mechanical systems
  • Stronggrasp ofmechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
  • Handsonpreparation ofAPQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc , docwill bean added advantageExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Goodwrittenandverbal communication skills
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e g , SolidWorks Certification) are a plus but not mandatory

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Mechanical Design: Develop detailed mechanical designs for components and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Ensure designs meet functional and performancerequirements TechnicalDrawings:Createand manage 2D and 3Dtechnical drawings, schematics, and models
  • Maintain high standards ofaccuracy and compliance withengineering standards
  • Collaboration: Work closelywith engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather design requirements and ensurealignment with project goals
  • Prototyping and Testing: Assist in the development of prototypes, conduct tests, and analyse results to validate and refine designs
  • Documentation: Prepare and update design documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and technical reports
  • Electronics Integration: Apply basic knowledge of electronics to ensure mechanicaldesigns can effectively integrate with electronic components or systems
  • Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews, providing insights and feedback toenhance designfeasibility and performance
  • Problem-Solving:Addressandresolve anydesign-related issues or challengesthat arise during development and manufacturing
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to continuously improve design practices and methodologies
